What is Cancer Survivorship
Cancer survivorship begins at the moment of diagnosis and lasts a lifetime. Fem Survivorship focuses on a patient’s overall health and well-being during treatment, after treatment, and in the years that follow.
Our survivorship program is designed to support the whole person, not just the disease. We help you manage long-term side effects, emotional and mental health, diet, nutrition, and weight management, sleep, sexual health, menopause, and offer physical therapy so you can feel your best during and after cancer treatment.

Fem Survivorship is designed to support you beyond diagnosis and treatment to help you navigate life after breast cancer with confidence, clarity, and care. Each Survivorship Care Plan is personalized and tailored to each survivor’s unique needs, goals, and concerns.
We provide ongoing, personalized follow-up care that includes:
• Management of Long-Term and Late Side Effects
o Lymphedema assessment and therapy
o Pain neuropathy, fatigue, and sleep disturbance care
o Cognitive function (“chemo brain”) support
o Bone health monitoring and treatment
• Hormonal and Reproductive Health
o Management of menopausal symptoms (hot flashes, night sweats, and vaginal dryness)
o Fertility preservation or counseling for younger survivors
o Bone density support for those on aromatase inhibitors or other hormonal therapies
• Sexual Health and Intimacy Counseling
o Support from trained professionals to address sexual dysfunction, loss of libido, or pain with intimacy
o Treatment for vaginal dryness
o Pelvic floor physical therapy if needed
• Fatigue and Energy Management
o Assessment of fatigue causes (e.g., anemia, thyroid, depression)
o Tools and plans for improving stamina and daily function
o Sleep studies as needed
