Sleep Support

Many women experience sleep problems during or after cancer treatment. Difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up feeling unrested can affect energy, mood, focus, and overall well-being. Common sleep concerns include insomnia, restless sleep, and sleep apnea. Getting restful sleep is an important part of healing, recovery, and long-term health.

Fem Survivorship offers a range of services and referrals to support healthy sleep, including convenient options that can be accessed from home.

These include:

  • Referrals to online sleep specialists

    • Access to board-certified sleep doctors who provide virtual evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for sleep-related concerns.

  • Home-based sleep studies

    • Sleep testing that can be completed in the comfort of your home to identify conditions such as sleep apnea or other sleep disruptions.

  • Treatment for common sleep disorders

    • Support for managing conditions like insomnia or sleep apnea through treatment plans that may include behavioral strategies, medical devices such as CPAP, or medication when appropriate.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)

    • Offered through our online mental health partner, CBT-I is a highly effective, evidence-based approach that helps retrain your sleep patterns by addressing the thoughts and behaviors that interfere with rest.

  • Sleep education and healthy habits

    • Guidance on daily routines and lifestyle changes that support better sleep, including relaxation techniques, activity planning, and sleep environment tips.

Improving your sleep can lead to better energy, clearer thinking, and a stronger sense of well-being. Fem Survivorship is here to connect you with the right tools and expert care so you can rest well and feel your best.
