Nutrition and Weight Management

 

Cancer and its treatments can significantly impact nutrition, appetite, and body weight. Some survivors experience weight gain, while others may struggle with weight loss, muscle loss, or changes in energy. These shifts can affect recovery, daily well-being, and long-term health

Fem Survivorship provides personalized nutrition and weight management support to help you regain strength, balance, and confidence in your health.

Services include:

  • Nutrition Counseling

    • Individual appointments with a registered dietitian specializing in cancer survivorship.

    • Personalized guidance on what to eat, managing side effects, and supporting long-term health through nutrition

  • Support for Weight Loss and Weight Gain

    • Customized plans for losing excess weight, rebuilding muscle, or managing unintentional weight loss.

    • Strategies tailored to your goals and lifestyle.

  • Education on Balanced Eating

    • Information on plant-forward meals and anti-inflammatory foods.

    • Tips for managing cravings and appetite changes after treatment.

  •  GLP-1 Medication Support (When Appropriate)

    • Access to GLP-1 medications (such as semaglutide or tirzepatide) for eligible survivors.

    • Medical supervision to ensure safe and effective use as part of a comprehensive weight management plan.

  • Ongoing Coaching and Accountability

    • Continued support to help you build healthy habits, track progress, and stay motivated.
